Terms & Conditions — Madeline Sales & Inventory

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the Madeline Sales & Inventory application, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the software.

2. Software License & Offline POS Operation

Madeline Sales & Inventory is provided by Erix Corporation as a Point of Sale (POS) and inventory control platform. Subject to these terms, Erix Corporation grants store operators a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to operate the software on compatible smartphones, tablets, and desktop devices.

3. Store Owner Responsibilities & Data Backups

Because Madeline operates offline on your local device hardware:

• Store owners are responsible for creating regular data backups using Madeline's built-in export tools.
• Store operators are responsible for ensuring accurate product pricing, SKUs, tax settings, discounts, and customer credit entries.
• Store owners must comply with local tax reporting, cashier licensing, business regulations, and receipt disclosure laws.

4. Security & Staff Credentials

Store owners are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their 4-Digit Owner PIN. Erix Corporation is not liable for unauthorized access or stock modifications resulting from shared or compromised PINs.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Madeline for illegal sales, unauthorized inventory tracking, software reverse engineering, malicious code injection, or fraudulent customer credit transactions. We reserve the right to restrict platform services for violation of these rules.

6. Data Ownership

You retain 100% ownership of all inventory catalogs, customer credit ledgers, transaction records, and shift summaries created within Madeline. Erix Corporation claims no ownership over your local store records.

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Madeline Sales & Inventory is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Erix Corporation shall not be liable for device hardware failure, loss of unbacked data, receipt printing errors, or indirect business interruption damages.

8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of Togo and international commercial software standards.
